Second life after insolvency
Pentanova acquires conveyor technology division from Eisenmann
The Austrian automation specialist pentanova has taken over the Conveyor Systems division of the insolvent plant manufacturer Eisenmann. The division, which specializes in material flow and intralogistics solutions, will operate on the market as an independent limited company within the pentanova Group.
"With this acquisition, we are investing in the future and strengthening our portfolio in the field of material flow automation. We are delighted that the management and staff of Eisenmann Conveyor Systems, with their extensive experience and expertise in the implementation of large-scale intralogistics projects, will now become part of the global pentanova family," explains Alfred Pfeifer, co-founder and shareholder of pentanova. "This will result in far-reaching synergy effects in sales and project development. This makes us an even more powerful international partner for our customers," Pfeifer continues. The future pentanova Conveyor Systems GmbH will retain its headquarters in the Swabian town of Böblingen, near Stuttgart.
"We are very pleased to have pentanova, a strong, globally active automation specialist, at our side. As part of the pentanova Group, we can continue to implement customized and high-quality intralogistics solutions for our existing and future customers in the usual reliable manner," says Sebastiano Sardo, previously responsible for the conveyor technology division at Eisenmann and now Managing Director of pentanova Conveyor Systems GmbH. "Our portfolio and our global sales structures as well as all our full-service and operator models in the Netherlands, Singapore and Finland will be retained. With pentanova's expertise and technological know-how, we can further strengthen our range of automation solutions and aftersales services and are therefore ideally positioned for the future," Sardo continues.
