The concept: The operator receives a matrix sorter for direct shipping to consumers and stores. They benefit from simplified returns handling, as the dynamic buffering eliminates the need for re-stocking and picking. According to the company, the new sorter increases throughput by 25 percent compared to conventional pocket sorters. It takes up very little space and is suitable for sorting a wide variety of items. The weight capacity of the pockets is seven kilograms.

With its new BG Pouch System, Beumer wants to respond to the rapidly growing interest of omnichannel and D2C providers. This system complements the Beumer Group's product range for the warehousing and distribution industry with a pouch sortation solution designed to meet the ever-increasing demands of the modern fulfillment and distribution business. The BG Pouch System was developed to meet the increasing demands for financial and logistical efficiency in the challenging e-commerce environment. It fits in with the Beumer Group's existing end-to-end integration solutions to solve intralogistics challenges for fashion companies.

An Italian fashion brand with a short product lifecycle is the first company to invest in a BG Pouch system as part of its fine-tuned global distribution business. This follows many other Beumer Group solutions that have proven successful in the warehouse and distribution business for retailers and e-commerce providers such as NIKE, Foot Locker and ASOS.
