Intralogistics specialist now represented in five European countries
Torwegge opens branch office in Poland
The intralogistics specialist Torwegge continues to expand: a Polish subsidiary with a branch in Poznan was founded at the beginning of the year.
The company operates under the name Torwegge Polska Sp.zo.o.. This is the company's response to the increasing demand for conveyor technology and intralogistics components from its Polish customers and their desire for stronger support. Two area sales managers share the market in the eastern neighboring country: since the beginning of January 2020, the two sales managers Arkadiusz Jeran and Łukasz Orłowski have been responsible for Torwegge Polska Sp.zo.o. in Poznan. With the opening of the new location, the Bielefeld-based company now has its own branches in five European countries.
"The Polish market has become increasingly important for us economically in recent years. Expansion was therefore a logical step," explains Uwe Eschment, Torwegge Managing Director. The company has been serving customers in Poland from Germany for over 20 years. The country's positive economic development and the increased demand for solutions such as those offered by TORWEGGE prompted the intralogistics specialist to open its own office. "In this way, we can offer our local customers even better specialist and technical advice," says Eschment.
