"A historic day for Schmalz," said Dr. Kurt Schmalz, Managing Partner of Schmalz. "It was an honor to have Olaf Scholz as our guest. We are delighted that he took the time to listen to our concerns and answer our questions."

Discussion round with the Chancellor: Economic situation and competitiveness keep employees busy

Among other things, the economic situation and Germany's competitiveness were discussed during the Q&A session: "Many employees are concerned about the competitiveness of German family businesses," says Dr. Kurt Schmalz. "We urgently need a change of direction in economic policy." Bureaucracy and a lack of flexibility in particular are causing headaches for SMEs.
