The goal here is a unified EMEA region (Europe, Middle East & Africa) with around 1,000 employees. Antonio Trioschi has been with Swisslog for many years and was previously responsible for the Greater Europe region. According to the company, he has extensive management experience in intralogistics, corporate development and the implementation of international change projects. Daniel Hauser, previously responsible for the Central Europe & Middle East region, will take on new challenges within the company, reports Swisslog.

Swisslog remains a strong partner for innovative solution concepts and successful project management. Dr. Christian Baur, CEO of Swisslog: "This step ensures access to Europe-wide resources and expertise. This puts us in a position to be able to react to all requirements and act quickly".

With its headquarters in Switzerland, Europe is of crucial importance to Swisslog. Swisslog has also built up its market presence in the Middle East from the Central Europe region - in the last 11 years, 15 orders have been won in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and a local Swisslog site has been established. In Germany, Swisslog is shaping the logistics sector from its Dortmund location with major projects for dm-drogerie markt, among others. Swisslog is also present in the wider European region with 10 country locations, from Spain to Sweden. Projects in recent years include ASDA (UK), Varner (Sweden), TJ Morris/Home Bargains (UK), La Doria (Italy) and ASKO (Norway). Switzerland will therefore remain Swisslog's headquarters. Dr. Christian Baur: "Switzerland and our headquarters here are anchored in Swisslog's culture and in our brand. This shapes our work worldwide."
