Intermediate bulk containers for food and pharmaceuticals
Companies in the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries have high requirements and regulations with regard to industrial packaging. Werit Kunststoffwerke develops solutions that are tailored to industry-specific requirements. Werit has developed the "NUTRiline" product series for the transportation of food and similar highly sensitive products. These fulfill the special standards and also meet the constantly growing requirements regarding hygiene in production processes. Food IBCs must meet the requirements of external official bodies such as the FDA or BRC as well as manufacturing processes in accordance with HACCP or GMP, the latter of which is based on Directive 203/94/EC on the manufacture of medicinal products. "The transport of foodstuffs and their additives, such as flavorings or colorants, is becoming increasingly important. We are well positioned for this. The successes of recent years in the food industry show that our NUTRiline standard comprehensively meets the needs of our customers and is sometimes difficult to achieve in some areas of the market," explains Volker Wiegmann, General Sales Manager Germany at Werit Kunststoffwerke.
