Focus on sustainability at Utz
What does sustainability mean in the plastics industry? Utz wants to answer this question, for example with storage and transport containers made from recyclable plastic. The company shows how climate-neutral reusable packaging can work.
Utz put its first material processing plant into operation more than 45 years ago and has been contributing to the promotion of sustainability by taking back and recycling products ever since. The company has developed the UIC (Utz Industrial Compound) brand for this purpose. UIC stands for high-quality secondary raw materials with documented and certified properties. In addition to the same material properties as virgin material, UIC offers customers the opportunity to actively participate in the sustainability process and the reduction of their ownCO2 footprint. In addition to sustainability, the Utz Group stand will also focus on the topic of system integration.
