Remmert and KBM agree on strategic partnership
Remmert GmbH and KBM Automation AG have agreed a strategic cooperation for the sale and development of storage and automation solutions at Blechexpo 2021.
KBM Automation AG, based in Wilen near Wollerau, Switzerland, is to become the exclusive sales partner for Remmert's storage and automation solutions in Switzerland. In addition, both companies want to combine their expertise for the development of new automation solutions. Both partners share a passion and expertise for highly automated and modular storage and handling systems for sheet metal, sheet metal blanks and long goods.
Among other things, the aim is to further develop Remmert's modular systems for loading and unloading applications and to expand the joint product portfolio with sorting solutions and other applications. This will enable sheet metal processing companies to operate their laser cutting systems with maximum efficiency while remaining independent of the system manufacturer. The cooperation agreement was signed by the managing directors of both companies at the Remmert stand at Blechexpo 2021.
