With Smart Control, Remmert has developed a solution for the intelligent control and operation of its Flex modules for process automation. In addition to a modern software architecture, the system scores with integrated management of users and authorizations as well as extensive service functionality and the provision of status information for handling material and warehouse data.

Smart Control provides users with detailed and structured support when operating the connected modules. Thanks to its simple and intuitive operating concept, the system only requires a short training period for employees. In addition, it enables the tracking of current orders as well as uncomplicated management of stocks and stock corrections. Thanks to its modular design and manufacturer-independence, existing systems can be expanded and kept up to date with the latest technology.

Intuitive application
Remmert developed the logistics software in collaboration with industrial designers, is designed for touch operation and enables intuitive use. As a modular system, it facilitates the connection to host systems and the manufacturer-independent integration of processing machines. Usability is fast and intuitive, from basic warehouse management to the production control system. In addition, there is a high degree of individualization through extensive customizing.

The PRO WMS Professional software package includes all functions for inventory management as well as storage and retrieval. It supplies the machines with material and stores the processed parts in the warehouse. In a second expansion stage, the software system controls and optimizes all connected warehouses and connects external production units that are operated fully automatically, semi-automatically or manually. Various processing machines can be connected directly to the warehouse in order to request material from the warehouse via data interfaces or to store processed parts. All material movements are reported back to the host system by PRO WMS Enterprise.
