Pallet magazine for particularly high pallet turnover
Everywhere, shelves are currently being emptied of pasta, flour, canned goods and toilet paper. Pallet turnover in the central warehouses of food retailers is correspondingly high. The DStacker supports needs like these.
The pallet magazine dispenses one of up to 65 pallets every 10 seconds. Karl H. Bartels GmbH, an expert in warehouse equipment and transport systems, has now added the innovative system to its sales program.
range. "The DStacker is designed for particularly high pallet turnover and does not require a power connection, pneumatics or hydraulics," says Bartels Managing Director Sebastian Krayenborg. "This makes it a revolution among pallet dispensing systems."
Filling is carried out by forklift truck. To activate the dispensing of pallets, the operator must drive the forklift under the first pallet and lift the entire stack slightly. The fork is then lowered again. The desired pallet is now already on the forks and can be pulled out.
The system then lowers the remaining stack to the floor so that the next pallet is ready for removal within a few seconds. "Commissioning is simple, and it only takes five minutes to learn how to use the DStacker," promises Sebastian Krayenborg. Further advantages: Pallets are stored in a space-saving manner, hand or back injuries caused by manual pallet handling are avoided, pallets are stowed safely and damage caused by falling pallets is reduced. "The DStacker therefore promotes order, safety and cleanliness in the warehouse," says Krayenborg.
As it does not require a power connection, the DStacker can also be used anywhere. The mechanism requires only a minimum of electricity, which is supplied by 12-volt batteries. Windows on the side allow constant visual inspection of the mechanism. The DStacker is suitable for EPAL, plastic, CHEP and GMA pallets.
