Habemus CEO: Steffen Bersch climbs to the top of SSI Schäfer
The Advisory Board of the SSI SCHAEFER Group has appointed Steffen Bersch as CEO of the SSI SCHAEFER Group.
Bersch will take up his position at SSI Schaefer on March 1, 2020. After a short transition period, the manager will succeed the interim CEO, Dr. Helmut Limberg, on April 1.
Steffen Bersch has been a member of the Executive Board of GEA Group AG since January 1, 2016, where he has been responsible for the Liquid & Powder Technologies, Food & Healthcare Technologies, Refrigeration Technologies and Global Technology divisions since the beginning of the year. Steffen Bersch has been with GEA Group AG since 2000, where he has held various management positions. Among other things, he worked for GEA Middle East for several years as Managing Director in Dubai and headed a business unit in the separators business. Until the end of 2019, he was responsible for the Business Unit Equipment on the Executive Board of GEA Group AG.

Furthermore, Mr. Bersch has extensive experience in the strategic development of globally operating companies."
