Coop and SSI Schäfer deepen partnership

The cooperation between the Swiss Coop Group Cooperative and SSI Schaefer is entering the next phase: With the award of the contract for the comprehensive release upgrade of the intralogistics software WAMAS, the company is focusing on a homogeneous, future-proof software landscape in intralogistics.

All 60 Coop warehouse locations with WAMAS in use will be upgraded to the new software technology. This includes the locations in Switzerland, Germany, Poland and Romania. The new version offers technological and functional enhancements that enable even more efficient control, transparency and flexibility in logistics processes.

Smooth realization

The rollout is implemented as part of central program management - an approach that has proven to be particularly effective for cross-location requirements. Thanks to structured planning, close coordination and standardized processes, the upgrade can be implemented smoothly and efficiently across all locations.

With the version upgrade, the Coop Group benefits from a standardized, technologically modern software solution across the extensive warehouse landscape. This creates increased maintainability and information security, provides the basis for consolidated evaluations to optimize the entire logistics chain and ensures progressive automation.
