Common brand
Fortna and MHS Global become Fortna
MHS Global ("MHS"), a provider of material flow automation and system integration, and Fortna ("Fortna"), a software and solutions provider for distribution and fulfillment, have merged to form one company and will now operate jointly under the Fortna brand.
The companies combine planning, development and delivery of omnichannel and parcel distribution solutions and offer their customers an end-to-end way to optimize processes and facilities in the face of constant upheaval.
Rob McKeel, CEO of Fortna, explains: "The decision to retain the Fortna name was the result of careful consideration. We chose the name Fortna not only because of the reputation it has in the marketplace, but also because of the strength and resilience it conveys." McKeel continues: "Fortna conveys bravery. And resilience and strength. The name represents exactly what our customers need in today's times and what they can expect from a partnership with us - the ability to withstand and thrive in ever-changing market conditions and emerge more successful than ever."
In the coming weeks and months, the new Fortna brand will become increasingly visible as part of the global market launch. The new brand identity is an expression of the new expanded offering that customers will have access to in future - the services and expertise of two industry-leading providers of omnichannel and parcel distribution solutions, ideally combined.
McKeel adds: "Basically, everything we do has one common goal: to ensure that our customers know that they are ideally positioned for future changes and challenges. This means: processes that keep pace with change. Scalable and profitable systems with customized automation. And the know-how and intelligence to recognize future requirements in advance."
