Blauermel and Fottner Chairmen of the VDI Technical Logistics Division
The VDI Technical Advisory Board "Technical Logistics" has elected its chairmen: Gregor Blauermel, Managing Director of B416 Unternehmensberatung and his deputy Prof. Dr.-Ing. Johannes Fottner, Chair of fml, TU Munich.
The "Technical Logistics" advisory board is made up of the chairs of the technical committees and other experts from business and research. Blauermel has many years of experience in the industry in various positions. After studying at the TH Darmstadt, he began his career in logistics consulting. He was later responsible for logistics at Quelle, Arcandor and the Radeberger Group, among others. In 2010, he founded the management consultancy B416, specializing in logistics, purchasing, organization and multichannel. The expert has been an honorary member of the VDI for almost 20 years and has been actively involved in shaping the topic of "technical logistics" for many years on the advisory board, board of directors and program committee of the Material Flow Congress. Professor Fottner initially gained experience in various management positions at Swisslog, the MIAS Group and Jungheinrich and succeeded Professor Günthner at the fml chair at the Technical University of Munich in 2016. He has also been involved in the VDI on a voluntary basis for many years. Fottner is also Chairman of the Bavarian regional association.
