Production: from 10 to 30 per day
The company is thus expanding its production capacity from the previous 10 insulated vehicles to 30 vehicles per day. "Whether transporting fresh or frozen foodstuffs or sensitive pharmaceutical products, customers benefit from this capacity expansion not only from greater flexibility, which results in shorter delivery times, among other things, but also from more vehicle variants, which we can produce even more country-specifically with the new system," said Roland Klement, Chief Technical Officer at Schmitz Cargobull at the commissioning ceremony.

New foaming system optimizes insulation
In addition to the S.CS curtainsider semi-trailer and the S.KO box body, M.KO box bodies for motor vehicles and vans weighing twelve tons or more as well as Z.KO central axle box trailers and A.KO box trailers are also produced on site. The new foaming plant is intended to provide even better insulating properties, particularly for the vehicle bodies.
