Jan Bernert is the new Sales Manager at DAF Trucks Germany
DAF Trucks Germany strengthens its sales expertise with Jan Bernert. The trained banker brings many years of experience - both in the finance and commercial vehicle sectors - to the company.
He succeeds Michael Neuenfeldt as Head of Sales at DAF Trucks Germany and has been supporting the independent DAF partner network in all national sales activities relating to the DAF LF, CF and XF series since April. Jan Bernert starts his new role with a clear objective: "I want to further strengthen and expand the good position that DAF has built up over the years with both contractors and drivers. I will be measured against this as Sales Manager." The 43-year-old also has DAF-specific expertise.
In addition to being named International Truck of the Year 2018 for its CF and XF series, DAF can also look back on a record year in 2018. Good conditions for Bernert to achieve his goals. The sustainable strengthening of the sales organization is essential for this. "Focusing on certain key sales areas is part of our success concept," Bernert also explains, "this primarily includes DAF's fleet and chassis business."
