Work on the strategic orientation
"2021 was a challenging year, not least due to the enormous price increases for our primary products and the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. But all in all, we are satisfied with the end of the year and remain positive about the coming year 2022. On the one hand, the order and supply situation looks satisfactory for us, and we have challenging customer projects on the horizon where we will once again demonstrate our strengths in the areas of customer-specific shelving solutions and project management. On the other hand, we are continuing to work on our strategic direction so that we can continue to look to the future with confidence. One part of this focus is our cooperation with a specialist in conveyor technology, with whom we are currently in the process of setting up a joint venture. We will continue to jointly win projects under the name META ILS, where complete solutions including conveyor technology are required and which were not available to us before this cooperation.
Overall, we expect the economic situation to develop slightly positively. It will certainly continue to stagnate in some areas, but other future-oriented market areas will continue to grow strongly or increasingly transform (e.g. e-commerce, electromobility, etc.).
