Witron: New fresh storage facility for private dairy
The private dairy Bechtel commissioned the Parkstein-based general contractor Witron Logistik + Informatik GmbH with the realization of a new fresh food warehouse, including the connection to the production and storage systems at the Schwarzenfeld site. The aim was to integrate the compact logistics system within the confined space of the site during ongoing operations. The project is being implemented in stages. Phase one comprises the construction of a pre-zone building for the new fresh food warehouse with incoming and outgoing goods. This building will be connected to the existing logistics and production halls via two transport bridges. The longest transport bridge is 90 meters long - with a transport height of almost five meters. In the second phase, a high-bay warehouse in silo design will be installed behind the pre-zone building and integrated into the logistics network in terms of IT and conveyor technology.
