Storage- and racking systems
Servus Intralogistics acquires 25 percent of MIA Systems & Software GmbH
The intralogistics specialist Servus and the software company MIA have been working together for over 10 years. Now it was time to take the next strategic step and further intensify the collaboration.

This means a win-win-win situation for customers and for both companies. More than ever, the further deepening of the partnership means that customers can rely on Servus Intralogistics to provide them with a customized intralogistics system that is perfectly tailored to their individual needs. "In addition, customers are guaranteed comprehensive support. From analysis, implementation and procurement of the necessary hardware to customer-specific and individual service agreements," adds Alexander Fehr, Managing Partner of MIA.
Christian Beer, owner and Managing Director of Servus Intralogistics, sees a further advantage for customers in participating in the software company: "Our customers now have a single point of contact, from the interface of the respective ERP system and material flow automation to the user-friendly interface and integrated service." From advice on the ideal material flow along the entire value chain to interface-free implementation, customers now get everything from a single team.

Both are certain: "For our customers, this step means that we can respond to customer requirements even better and in a more targeted manner."
While the Dornbirn-based intralogistics specialist from Heron produces and supplies tailor-made, turnkey intralogistics systems for its customers, Mäder-based MIA Systems has made it its business in recent years to develop and implement complex warehouse management systems.
Customers have already benefited
In the ten years of cooperation, Servus has built up and further developed a modular software system together with MIA. This modular system guarantees customers an optimized material flow and efficient warehouse management, thereby significantly reducing work in progress.
MIA has also previously created additional capacity for Servus projects and provided support in customizing issues.
