In his new role, Baumgartner will primarily be responsible for the Customer Service, IT Solutions, New Technologies and AutoStore departments. He brings with him experience in the areas of artificial intelligence and data science, WMS software, the small parts warehouse world, customer service and international experience. Baumgartner brings with him a professional career in which he has already been largely responsible for strong growth and success. He graduated from the HTL Leonding with a focus on IT & General Management and continued his education in Strategic Management and Corporate Entrepreneurship at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. He began his career as a software developer and IT project manager before joining the TGW Logistics Group in 2007, where he held various key positions. Most recently, he drove innovation and trends as Senior Vice President Future Fulfillment Center. Prior to this, Baumgartner had overall responsibility for Amazon as Senior Vice President Global Account. Another important position was his role as COO of TGW China.
