The twelve logistics IT companies of the MHP Solution Group are joining forces under the new ecovium brand. The group of companies is thus setting the course as a solution provider for more sustainable logistics. With software and hardware solutions for the entire supply chain, ecovium contributes to efficient processes and a simplified value chain.

The new name illustrates the company's holistic approach. The first part "eco" stands for both ecology and economy and deliberately emphasizes the equal consideration of economic, ecological and social aspects. The second part "vium" is derived from the Latin "via" and stands for the path that ecovium is pursuing. "We want to enable our customers to work sustainably, fairly and economically at all process levels and pave the way for new approaches in logistics," explains Jasmino Burkic, CEO of ecovium.

A first example of the holistic approach and the first new product that reflects ecovium's potential is the E-Commerce Suite. Operators of online stores receive a solution with which they can increase the efficiency of their shipping logistics. Shipping processes are managed across the entire value creation process in a single software solution. The e-commerce suite will be launched in October, the company reports.
