SWAN GmbH takes over all employees of the SAP business unit of the SSI Schaefer Group and integrates them with all existing branches into the company. The intralogistics specialist SSI Schaefer will become the majority shareholder of SWAN GmbH, which will continue to operate independently on the market. Within the partnership, SWAN will take over the project management of SSI Schaefer's SAP division.

With over 120 SAP experts, this strategic merger creates a provider in the field of SAP logistics with automation expertise. According to SWAN, the merger positions the company among the top 5 providers for SAP logistics. The company is gaining 55 logistics consultants and bundling its expertise in the areas of SAP consulting & development, material flow control and project management. The Customer Lifecycle Service team will also be doubled in size in future. "Our business partners and customers will benefit from the newly strengthened SWAN GmbH. In future, we will offer an even broader portfolio of solutions and outstanding expertise in SAP logistics via their usual contacts," promises Alexander Bernhard, Managing Director of SWAN GmbH.
