SSI Schaefer: 90 warehouse locations united under WAMAS Enterprise WMS
Gebrüder Weiss relies on the WAMAS Enterprise WMS from SSI Schaefer to manage 90 multi-customer warehouse locations in 34 countries.
The WAMAS Warehouse Management System (WMS) takes over the planning, implementation and optimization of intralogistics processes. The WAMAS Enterprise WMS solution is a special variant of the WAMAS WMS. It focuses on integrating the various branches and mandates around the globe. The system offers cross-location transparency and optimization at all process levels at Gebrüder Weiss.
Thanks to sophisticated interface management, the 600 different interfaces at Gebrüder Weiss were successfully integrated and comprehensive connectivity ensured. Smooth communication between the systems and with customers and partners made a significant contribution to increasing the efficiency of the supply chain processes and improving the company's overall performance.
