New location in Würzburg
Knapp strengthens SAP EWM presence in Germany
Knapp IT Solutions GmbH, the Knapp Group's competence center for solutions and services relating to the warehouse management software SAP EWM, has opened a new location in Würzburg.
Gerald Lassau and Thomas Furthmayr take over the management of Knapp IT Solutions Deutschland GmbH. After several years of successful business activity with around 34 go-lives of SAP EWM by Knapp in warehouses in Germany, Knapp IT Solutions is expanding its strategic branch network. In addition to the headquarters in Raaba-Grambach, Austria, the locations in Schönbühl, Switzerland, and Sofia, Bulgaria, the new branch in Würzburg complements Knapp's team of 100 SAP EWM experts in current and future implementation projects.
"Knapp is a full-service provider for SAP EWM and takes care of all aspects of such a project, starting with the solution concept, through implementation and go-live, to the 24/7 service desk. The solutions include complex RF and voice-guided as well as fully automated warehouses. With our new location, we want to expand our local presence in Germany in order to provide even better support to new and existing customers," explains Gerald Lassau, Managing Director of Knapp IT Solutions GmbH.
With more than 90 projects based on SAP EWM, Knapp is one of SAP's leading EWM implementation partners internationally. "Germany combines exactly these two criteria. It is an important market for SAP solutions and allows us to further expand our team internationally. Within a very short time, we were able to recruit five new SAP EWM experts for our location and we are still looking for experienced experts as well as career starters in the area of consulting and development," reports Thomas Furthmayr, Managing Director of Knapp IT Solutions GmbH.
