Contract logistics companies, freight forwarders or even manufacturing companies that work with a large number of different clients, which in turn often have completely different, individual requirements, adapt their shipping system accordingly. This means that new program codes have to be integrated into the system time and again, and that outdated codes remain in the system and place a corresponding burden on it.

With the new EVA7 SCM feature, client-relevant programming that has become superfluous can now be removed again for the first time. Additional parallel processes can also be added within the same EVA system as the shipping volume increases. If the dispatch volume increases even further, additional servers are simply added. The same procedure is followed if high availability systems are required. Parallel processing on multiple servers means that failures of virtual machines or hardware can be easily bridged, ensuring that processes always remain stable and secure.

Dr. Manfred Steins, Managing Director of Anton Software GmbH: "EVA7 is constantly being optimized. With the new EVA7 SCM module, we are able to remove processes that are no longer required from customer systems without affecting system stability. In this way, EVA7 remains lean and transparent even after a long period of operation." Dr. Steins continues: "With the development of the EVA7 SCM feature, we have succeeded in creating a genuine system innovation that sets standards, and we are delighted to be able to offer this to our customers."
