By participating in the network, the company hopes to be able to offer its customers even more advanced and at the same time leaner and more cost-effective systems based on this technology. Dirk Nopens, Managing Director of Mieloo & Alexander DACH: "As a specialist in the field of tracking & tracing in particular, we see many opportunities that open up with LoRaWAN. In intralogistics, for example, intelligent tracking systems can be set up across extensive halls and sites, reducing search times to a minimum." The LoRaWAN specification is a Low Power, Wide Area (LPWA) network protocol that supports data transmission in IoT, M2M and industrial applications, among others.
