Even faster and more flexible with a modern 3D printer
The most significant innovation at AL-KO Kunststofftechnik is a modern 3D printer. With an installation space of 370 x 370 x 330 millimetres, it is possible to create near-series prototypes and series components within a very short time, which significantly shortens the overall timeline of a project.
This 3D printer is particularly suitable for creating sample nests, which are often used as a basis for adapting and optimizing the position of components in workpiece carriers and technical packaging. Another highlight from AL-KO is a series of containers. The Parob range of containers has been specially expanded and optimized to accommodate long, narrow components. In addition to the existing containers, there is now a series with dimensions of 400 x 800, 400 x 1,000 and 400 x 1,200 millimeters. The frame tools required for this are partially adjustable in height. Last but not least, AL-KO will be presenting new, high-quality surfaces at the trade fair, which are increasingly being used in technical plastic components. Here too, AL-KO is responding promptly to market and customer requirements with regard to high surface quality and soft-touch haptics.
