New light curtain for volume measurement from Leuze
LSC 200 from Leuze is a complete system for tasks in intralogistics and packaging technology, in which sensors and evaluation unit are optimally matched to each other. Depending on the application, sensors can be used for object measurement and object detection.
The software pre-installed on the evaluation unit takes care of data acquisition and pre-processing and, depending on the task, user data extraction. The user data is made available to the user via defined interfaces (e.g. Profibus, TCP/IP). The LSC 200 can also be extended with sensors for identification, e.g. with barcode readers. Dimensions can be recorded with three light curtains (length, width, height) using the optical one-way measurement method. If the constellation requires it, width and height measurement is also possible with scanning light section sensors or laser scanners.

Reading ranges up to 16 meters
With its new mobile code readers, Leuze electronic covers all desired reading ranges. The IT1280 and IT198x industrial full-range scanners are a good choice whenever long ranges are required and flexible 1D/2D mixed operation can occur, for example in warehouses or during pallet handling. Their automatic focusing ensures that both the near and far ranges are optimally covered with a single device - extremely long scanning ranges of up to 16 meters are possible.
