Automatic scanning for fast returns processing
Datalogic is presenting the fully automated JadeTM scanning portal for logistics applications. The ready-to-use reading tunnel is based on image processing technology and captures codes regardless of their orientation on small packages and polybags. This eliminates the need for manual
This makes returns management and order processing even faster, safer and more efficient. The new AV7000 camera-based code reading system for 1D and 2D codes will be on show for the first time. The system reliably reads damaged codes and codes of poor quality over a large reading width. The new industrial-grade high-end camera has interfaces for image transmission, high image quality for OCR and video coding. The read rates improve productivity in material flow and distribution. The DS8110 and DX8210 laser scanners complement the logistics solutions in the sorting process. Datalogic is thus launching two innovative technologies on the market that support hybrid and DWS solutions.
