UTA: Kaplan becomes Head of Procurement Fuels and Plus Services
Kleinostheim, 31.07.2018 - The service and fuel card specialist Union Tank Eckstein (UTA) is filling the position of Head of Procurement for the Fuels and PLUS Services divisions. From August 1st, Ralf Kaplan will be responsible for purchasing and procurement at UTA's European headquarters in Kleinostheim.
"In him, we have gained an experienced expert who will gradually develop our partnerships with suppliers as well as our purchasing processes and structures," explains Volker Huber, CEO at UTA.
As Purchasing Director Europe Branded at the international packaging group Multi Packaging Solutions, Kaplan has spent the past two years organizing procurement activities for 15 locations in Germany, the United Kingdom and Poland. Prior to this, the 51-year-old engineering graduate was responsible for purchasing in the DACH region at DS Smith Packaging in Mannheim. His work will focus on the development of existing partnerships, as well as the search for new suppliers and service providers. mm
