Sparck Technologies expands sales in Germany
Sparck Technologies, formerly Packaging by Quadient, is strengthening its sales department in Germany. Mechanical engineer Fabian Mütherich (29) has been supporting the specialist for automated packaging systems as a sales engineer since December 1.
The Sauerland native's main tasks include expanding the network and business with the 3D packaging solutions CVP Impack and CVP Everest. Users of the solutions include the online mail order company Lampenwelt.de, SportOkay.com (Austria) and DeinDeal.ch (Switzerland).
"The topics of seasonal order fluctuations and air-free, sustainable shipping parcels are also driving the demand for innovative, automated packaging systems for small and large shippers in Germany. We are delighted to have gained Fabian Mütherich, a sales engineer with a wealth of technical knowledge as a mechanical engineer and sales expertise in the sales sector. He will drive our growth in Germany," emphasizes Richard Nijboer, Director of Sales and Services at Sparck Technologies.
Mütherich studied mechanical engineering at the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences. Among other things, he worked as a design engineer for the hose manufacturer Foxiflex and as a sales engineer for Heripack packaging machines.
"More and more consumers are annoyed by oversized shipping parcels with lots of filling material. And small and large shippers are increasingly recognizing that resource-saving 3D packaging solutions with precisely produced parcels meet customer requirements in terms of sustainability. What's more, with these packaging systems, they are ideally positioned for seasonal or sudden peaks in demand - and do not have to hire additional workers. Sparck Technologies has more than eight years of experience in this growing business segment with its systems running successfully in 13 countries. I am therefore very much looking forward to my new role," emphasizes Mütherich.
