October, Rudolf Schmid, the current Head of New Vehicles, will be responsible as an authorized signatory. Rudolf Schmid (born 1979) has been with the Schwarzmüller Group since 1999 and started in vehicle delivery. In 2014, he became Regional Manager, including for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He has been Head of the New Vehicles division since 2018.
Customer Services, which has been upgraded to a business unit, will become the responsibility of CEO Roland Hartwig. He sees this as the last major area in which uniform structures need to be established within the Schwarzmüller organization. The previous head of the division, Timm Megerlin, will take over the technical management of the Customer Service business in Germany in order to provide new impetus from there. Armin Habel will take up his position as the new head of this business area at the beginning of October and will report directly to the CEO. Among other things, he worked for Volvo Truck in the Aftermarket division.
"Michael Weigand has led the reorganization of international sales over the past five years and has now successfully completed this reorganization," emphasized Hartwig. Weigand has managed to form a powerful team that has made a major contribution to Schwarzmüller's strong growth, particularly in Germany. Most recently, Weigand integrated the sales team of the new German subsidiary Hüffermann Transportsysteme into a cross-group sales team with a uniform overall portfolio, explained Hartwig.
