Robert Bommers becomes new COO Contract Logistics at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics

Osnabrück, 18.04.2018 - Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has appointed Robert Bommers (53) as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Contract Logistics division as of May 1, 2018. In this role, Robert Bommers is responsible for the entire Contract Logistics division globally, which is Hellmann's third business unit alongside the Road & Rail and Air & Sea divisions.
As a member of the Executive Board, Bommers reports directly to Dr. Thomas Knecht, Chief Executive Officer, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. Robert Bommers can look back on over 25 years of management experience in international contract logistics. Over the past twelve years, he worked for the BLG Logistics Group, where he was responsible for global sales and tender management as well as project and process management. During his time at the BLG Group, Bommers drove global expansion, particularly in Asia, and as Managing Director was responsible for all overseas locations of the logistics service provider specializing in the automotive industry.
