Re-elected: Heinrich Doll as President of the LBS
Heinrich Doll (photo) remains President of the LBS - Landesverband Bayerischer Spediteure for a further two years. His two deputies, Manfred-Jürgen Fichtl and Henning R. Mack, were also confirmed in office at the association's 40th general meeting on July 12 in Lindau (Lake Constance).
In the regular elections, Bernhard Reichert and Wolfgang Thoma were re-elected and Thomas Eberl and Ruth Pflaum were newly elected to the Executive Committee. Erich Baumgärtel, Alexander Doden and Herbert Rückel were elected as substitute members. Ruth Pflaum is the first woman to join the LBS Executive Committee.
Heinrich Doll had previously thanked the departing members of the Executive Committee for their voluntary commitment, with which they had made a significant contribution to the development of the LBS over many years: Jürgen Eberl, Rainer Pflaum and Harald Rieder were bid farewell to the applause of the 170 or so members present.
