New top man at VTG
Alberto Nobis will become the new Chief Executive Officer of VTG GmbH on October 1, 2023. In his new role, he will be responsible for the management and development of more than 50 locations in 20 European countries with services along the entire rail-bound logistics chain.
Nobis has decades of management experience in the logistics industry. He comes from the DHL Group, where he was in charge of the DHL Express division - initially in the finance department up to the global CFO position (2009-2012). He later moved into managing director positions at local, regional and global level. In his last position, from early 2019 to summer 2023, Nobis was CEO of DHL Express Europe, responsible for a portfolio of over 50 countries and 45,000 employees. Under his leadership, the DHL Express division became the European market leader in terms of market share, margin, customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
