Successor to Jens Möller
Patrick Oestreich becomes new Chief Commercial Officer at Hellmann
The global full-service provider Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has appointed Patrick Oestreich as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). He succeeds Jens Möller, who took over the position on an interim basis in August last year. As CCO and member of the Executive Board, Oestreich will be responsible for the Global Sales Leadership Team, which manages global sales for all product areas, from April 1, 2021.
Patrick Oestreich can look back on 20 years of international sales experience in the logistics industry. After working for Deutsche Post/DHL/Danzas and UTi Germany, he held various management positions at Schenker AG in the EMEA region from 2007 to 2018, most recently as Senior Vice President Road Brokerage, Land Transport in Europe. For the last two and a half years, Patrick Oestreich was responsible for Strategic Sales and Account Management in Europe as Senior Vice President at XPO Logistics.
"In recent years, our focus has been on expanding the sales organization worldwide in terms of quality and quantity, thus creating an important prerequisite for profitable, sustainable growth in all product segments and markets. This optimized sales structure has successfully passed the stress test of a very challenging 2020. Now, together with Patrick Oestreich and the international team, we must continue to drive forward our growth agenda on this solid basis. In particular, we will expand digital sales and thus provide answers to the changing markets and requirements of our customers for an innovative logistics service provider," says Reiner Heiken, Chief Executive Officer, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.
