Christoph Fitz takes over
New Sales Director for Volvo Trucks Germany

With effect from November 15, 2021, 46-year-old Christoph Fitz, as the new Director New Vehicle Sales Volvo Trucks, will be responsible for sales of the new trucks from Sweden. He succeeds Peter Ström himself, who has also held the position since taking up the post in December 2020.
Christoph Fitz can look back on more than 15 years of extensive experience in the commercial vehicle industry, which he gained in various positions at Daimler AG. Among other things, he was Product Manager and Regional Sales Manager Mercedes-Benz Trucks before working for Daimler India Commercial Vehicles in Asia for 5 years from 2010. Fitz draws on diverse and valuable experience in sales, development and project management. From 2015, he took on various management functions in sales at Mitsubishi FUSO Trucks. Most recently, he was Regional Head Sales & Service Europe, Russia & Turkey. "I am delighted to be taking on such an important role at such a versatile and future-oriented company as Volvo Trucks. It will be my goal to actively shape the change towards a CO2-free world with Volvo products," says the native of Schleswig-Holstein.
