Second top manager moves from K+N
Nadine Stoppa takes over the management of the Western Region division at contract logistics company TST
Nadine Stoppa is the second top manager to move from Kühne+Nagel to TST within a few weeks (we reported).
The 44-year-old will take over the management of the western region of the Worms-based logistics company on October 1 and will manage the company's contract logistics business in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). TST had already filled a central management position with a former K+N manager at the beginning of September.
Stoppa was with K+N for more than ten years. Most recently, she had overall responsibility for two contract logistics branches with leading international consumer goods manufacturers. The business graduate (FH), who started out in the industry as a trained forwarding agent, will further develop the area of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) at TST and look after existing customers. The manager, who lives in the Lower Rhine region, will also contribute her experience from the retail and chemicals sectors to the medium-sized logistics company.
TST operates 16 logistics locations in NRW alone, including the largest European logistics center for Henkel's adhesive products in Bönen and a 44,000 square meter warehouse and distribution center for Intersnack in Dortmund.
"I am delighted to become part of the TST family," says Nadine Stoppa, who is impressed by the development of the medium-sized logistics company. "The development prospects, but also the appreciative atmosphere and the entrepreneurial personality of Frank Schmidt convinced me," Stoppa comments on her change of employer.
"I am very much looking forward to Nadine Stoppa. She impressed us right from the start and is a perfect fit for TST as a team player," says TST Managing Director Frank Schmidt.
With the new additions to the management team, as well as the significant increase in the training and recruitment rate, Schmidt is creating structures for the further growth of his group of companies. "We have come through the pandemic reasonably well," reports Schmidt. "And our order books for the coming year are already well filled." Both new additions play an important role in the further development of TST, the company boss continues.
