Karl Meiringer is to become the new manager of the Gebrüder Weiss branch near Vienna, the company's largest branch worldwide. He succeeds Andreas Zwerger, who will concentrate on his tasks as the new Regional Manager East at Gebrüder Weiss.

"I am delighted that Karl Meiringer is taking over the management of the world's largest Gebrüder Weiss branch. He has known the location for many years and has already proven his professional and social competence on several occasions," says Andreas Zwerger about his successor. Meiringer has been with Gebrüder Weiss since 1997. He began his career in Vienna/St. Marx, where he took over as Group Manager for Southern and Eastern Europe in 2001. In January 2018, he took over as Head of Land Transport at the branch in Maria Lanzendorf and successfully contributed to the implementation of organizational changes and the design of new departments.

Andreas Zwerger can also look back on many years of service at Gebrüder Weiss. He joined the company in 1990 and played a key role in setting up the logistics solutions division. This was followed by various functions in the land transportation division at the Vienna location. In 2008, he was appointed branch manager in Maria Lanzendorf. Andreas Zwerger has been Regional Manager East since July 2018.
