Heuel expands management team
Heuel Logistics has appointed Gerald Mayrhofer to the Management Board. In his role, he has been responsible for sales development and contract logistics, among other things, since October 2022. He is also overseeing the expansion of sea and air freight as new business areas for the logistics group.

The change in the management is the result of the successful expansion course in the area of land transportation and the expansion of the service portfolio. In particular, the contract logistics and sea and air freight business is to be further expanded in order to be able to offer customers customized logistics concepts from a single source.
The merger with J. Dahmen GmbH & Co. KG, which specializes in land transport, warehousing and parcel logistics as well as sea and air freight, at the beginning of the year means that the Heuel Logistics Group now also has the necessary expertise in this area.

Gerald Mayrhofer, a trained forwarding agent, studied international management and graduated with a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Salzburg. Mayrhofer has over 25 years of professional experience in the
international transport business: for ten years he worked in management at DB Schenker Austria, including as Key Account Manager and Head of Contract Logistics. After that, the native Austrian managed the international
international transport logistics for Red Bull and was responsible for restructuring the global transport processes. As Managing Director of Senator International Speditions GmbH in Hamburg, he was responsible for organizational and personnel

Mayrhofer managed the global sea freight division for the Hellmann Logistik Group. Most recently, he was a member of the management board of the Splendid Group, where he was in charge of all logistics.
