CFO change at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics
The Chief Financial Officer of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, Dr. Michael Noth, has decided not to extend his contract, which expires in 2021, in order to pursue new opportunities outside the company. Together with the company's CEO, Reiner Heiken, he has been instrumental in driving Hellmann's realignment in recent years. Through operational and strategic measures, he has made a significant contribution to strengthening the company's financial power. As part of a planned handover, he will hand over the reins to his successor in spring 2021.
In this context, the Supervisory Board of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics appoints Martin Eberle as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The Swiss national will take on the new role in the spring and will form Hellmann's Management Board together with the CEO, Reiner Heiken. Martin Eberle, who began his career in banking at UBS, can look back on more than 20 years of financial experience in the logistics sector. For his previous employer, Kuehne + Nagel, he held various senior financial management positions in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Most recently, he was Global Head of Accounting and Controlling at Kuehne + Nagel's head office in Schindellegi.
Dr. Thomas Lieb, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Hellmann, welcomes Mr. Eberle as a new member of the Management Board: "With his profound understanding of the industry and his many years of experience in finance and controlling, Mr. Eberle will play a key role in the further expansion of Hellmann's global presence and market share.""We would like to thank Dr. Noth very much for his successful work on the Management Board of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics SE & Co. KG and wish him all the best for the future2, Dr. Thomas Lieb continued.
