CargoBeamer appoints new Managing Director Intermodal Operations
CargoBeamer, a provider of rail transportation services for non-craneable semi-trailers, has appointed Tilman Apitzsch as Managing Director of CargoBeamer Intermodal Operations GmbH. In this role, Apitzsch will head the newly created Business Solutions division, where he will lead the management of strategic planning to increase long-term commercial and operational excellence.
Apitzsch joins CargoBeamer from the Boston Consulting Group, where he worked for several years as a principal in the transportation, aviation and infrastructure sector. With over ten years of experience in strategy consulting, he has extensive knowledge of the rail and aviation industries. Apitzsch, who holds an M.Sc. in Management and Mobility, was responsible for extensive projects for leading companies in the traffic and transportation sector. He will bring this expertise to CargoBeamer in the future to take the intermodal service provider's offering to the next level.
