BVL Board: These are the new members

At the 41st Annual General Meeting of the German Logistics Association (BVL), members of the Executive Board reported on the work of the association. At the end of their term of office, five Board members stood for re-election and six new Board members were elected.

New members of the BVL Board are Alexander Doll (Board Member for Finance, Freight Transport and Logistics, Deutsche Bahn), Dr. Christian Jacobi (Managing Director, agiplan), Stephan Wohler (Board Member for IT and Logistics, Edeka Minden-Hannover Stiftung & Co. KG), Tim Scharwath (Board Member, Deutsche Post DHL), Andreas Reutter (Member of the Management Board, Robert Bosch) and Prof. Dr.-Ing.

The members' meeting focused in particular on the activities of the regional groups, as well as the major events German Logistics Congress, Forum Automotive Logistics, Forum Spare Parts Logistics and Forum Chemical Logistics, the start-up BVL.digital and the Logistics Day. The relaunch of the association's corporate design, the strategic partnership with MX Manufacturing Excellence and participation in the "Die Wirtschaftsmacher" initiative with its overarching "logistics heroes" image campaign were also highlighted. The 2018 annual financial statements and the budget for 2019 were unanimously approved, and the actions of the Executive Board and auditors were also unanimously ratified.
