Tailor-made packaging in e-commerce

The air is out here

Many online retailers still rely on conventional packaging methods and use standardized box sizes. Goods are often shipped in packages that are far too large or in plastic bags. This wastes material, as the boxes have to be stuffed with filling material. Automated packaging solutions from Sparck Technologies can help.

To reduce packaging material, shippers can rely on custom-fit parcels. Dutch packaging technology provider Sparck Technologies offers suitable systems for this with its automated packaging solutions CVP Impack and CVP Everest.

Goods are precisely measured using a 3D scanner and are automatically supplied with suitable cartons. The CVP Everest even produces parcels with a height of just 28 millimetres. This saves transport volume and corrugated cardboard and ultimately optimizes vehicle utilization.
