We anticipate a higher volume of incoming orders
Our eleven for 23: In the exclusive survey by materialfluss, eleven experts assess where the journey is heading this year. Steffen Dieterich, Managing Director of Hörmann Intralogistics, is one of them.
Some experts are already talking about an endemic phase of the coronavirus. The fear of this virus seems to be diminishing. This is also noticeable in the increased number of face-to-face customer appointments. I assume that this trend will continue and that our business will return to more normality. With the new "Hörmann Intralogistics" division in the Hörmann Group with around 300 employees nationally and internationally, we feel we are in an excellent position. Our business areas "Intralogistics Solutions", "Robotic Solutions", "Products" and "Services" offer state-of-the-art solutions for the trends in the industry. This year, we were able to win our first project in the area of micro-fulfilment centers for a big player.
We also anticipate high growth rates for these applications in 2023. The supply chain issue will be a driver for producing important components in Europe again and stocking them in large quantities. We are planning to more than double our total sales by 2025. We expect a solution to the war in Ukraine to emerge in the coming year and the uncertainties in the energy supply to decrease. These developments, together with a falling steel price, will lead to an increased willingness to invest.
