LogiMAT postponed - now end of May 2022

LogiMAT, scheduled to take place in Stuttgart from 8 to 10 March 2022, has been postponed "due to the once again difficult coronavirus situation", reports the organizer. The new date: May 31 to June 2, 2022.

"The current high incidences are also unsettling for our exhibitors. This is understandable and cannot simply be ignored. We must therefore react to the current situation in good time. Our exhibitors need planning security, which is difficult at the moment," explains Michael Ruchty, Exhibition Director of LogiMAT, Stuttgart. "From today's perspective, it is unclear whether the face-to-face event could take place in full in March. The exhibitors would like to see a face-to-face event - but if the vaccination rate, which is still too low, and the associated capacity utilization of hospitals lead to stricter regulations again, this is not in the interests of everyone involved. We must do everything we can to ensure that the legitimate expectations of exhibitors and visitors are met on site. It is therefore not surprising that this postponement has been expressly requested by many exhibitors.

"We welcome and support the necessary decision to hold the trade fair at a lower-risk time. The health and well-being of guests and employees at a Jungheinrich exhibition stand is a top priority for us. We are looking forward to a successful LogiMAT 2022 in May," explains Christian Erlach, Board Member for Sales at Jungheinrich AG in Hamburg.

"A decision that we fully support. The situation does not allow for reliable planning at the moment. We are looking forward to the next trade fair in Stuttgart and have some exciting new products and innovative solutions to offer trade visitors. In addition to reliable implementation, reliable planning is also essential," explains Steffen Bersch, CEO of the SSI SCHAEFER Group.

"We regret the necessity, but the date at the end of May is perfect and we are pleased that we were able to realize this wish of our exhibitors at such short notice with the support of Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH," explains Peter Kazander, Managing Director of EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH. "With our LogiMAT.digital platform, we will close the gap until the end of May together with the exhibitors and thus continue to stay in touch with trade visitors in a timely manner"
