Rickmers Holding AG applies for insolvency proceedings under self-administration

Rickmers Holding AG has filed for insolvency under self-administration with the Hamburg Local Court with the aim of restructuring (Hamburg Local Court file no. 67g IN 173/17). The Executive Board remains in office and capable of acting. Hamburg-based restructuring expert, lawyer and tax consultant

in. He is a specialist lawyer for insolvency law and a partner in the nationwide law firm Brinkmann & Partner. Dr. Christoph Morgen was today appointed member of the Executive Board and Chief Insolvency Officer by the Supervisory Board of Rickmers Holding AG. Lawyer

from the law firm Johlke Niethammer & Partner was appointed provisional administrator by the Hamburg Local Court.

The insolvency application relates only to the holding company, Rickmers Holding AG. On the other hand, the operating subsidiaries - in particular Rickmers Shipmanagement Hamburg and Singapore - are not affected and are operating as normal. Business and ship operations will continue. The aim of the Executive Board is to work out a new restructuring solution together with the creditors using the instruments of insolvency law. Banks, bondholders and employees will be represented in a provisional creditors' committee. red
