Chinese logistics center planned at JadeWeserPort

At transport logistic in Munich, Li Xiangyang, General Manager of China Logistics Co., Ltd (CL), and Andreas Bullwinkel, Managing Director of Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven JadeWeserPort-Marketing GmbH & Co. KG and Tong Laiming, Vice President of Chengtong Group, signed a letter of intent on the establishment of the "China Logistics-Wilhelmshaven Hub" logistics center.

China Logistics is one of China's largest logistics companies, operating 58 logistics centers with around eight million square meters of space. The company is also a subsidiary of the China Chengtong Group (CCT), whose product portfolio includes road, rail and water transportation of goods as well as integrated logistics services including international freight forwarding, warehousing and distribution.

The planned logistics center for the handling of Chinese goods is to be located on 20 hectares in the north of the GVZ. Commenting on the signing, Andreas Bullwinkel said: "Several years of negotiations with our Chinese partners have reached an important milestone on the way to realizing the project with today's signing of the MoU. The logistics center has the potential to play a role in the Belt and Road Initiative in the medium term. We would like to thank them for the trust they have placed in the site up to this point."
