Innovation Award
German SME Summit honors innovative companies
On June 28, around 1,300 guests from the SME sector, media and politics came together for a gala evening at the sixth edition of the German SME Summit. The gala is held to recognize innovation in medium-sized companies in Germany.
The event is supported by logistics service provider UPS. A jury headed by Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke decided who made it into the TOP 100. The approximately 120 criteria are divided into five categories. Among other things, training and development opportunities for employees and the success achieved by the companies' innovations were evaluated.
The winner of the evening in the category up to 50 employees is Ingpuls GmbH. In the category for up to 200 employees, the winner was itemis AG. The Hagedorn Group came out on top as the most innovative medium-sized company with more than 200 employees. "We support small companies that want to think big with our intelligent and global logistics network. With this, we create fast and reliable cross-border connectivity in Europe and beyond," says Thomas Zeller, Marketing Director UPS Germany.
