Contargo's third sustainability report published
The Contargo Group has published its third sustainability report. The guiding principle of the current edition: the change of perspective that is necessary to grasp the whole picture of sustainability.
The report was prepared on the basis of the globally recognized guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI Standards) and provides information on the sustainable activities of the container hinterland logistics network in the 2016/2017 financial years. The "zooming" approach is new: starting from a global perspective, developments in the immediate vicinity of Contargo are examined in more detail. The third step shows what is happening directly within the company, which initiatives and projects are being implemented at individual locations and what individual employees can contribute to greater sustainability.
